KENTUCKIANS FOR BETTER TRANSPORTATION

KBT was formed in 1977 by a group of individuals representing the aviation industry, the rail industry, public transit, the highway, road, and bridge construction industry as well as the barge industry.

Their 1997 brand needed a modern refresh. I was tasked with creating a completely new brand, logo, and accompanying designed elements for their social media accounts.

First and foremost, KBT needed a new logo. They wanted to convey their five modes of transportation while also showing how all modes are invested in both safety, and in Kentucky.

KBT expressed interest in a colorful palette for their new brand. Using lush greens and blues to symbolize Kentucky with a recognizable orange color for safety, KBT’s new brand started to flourish.

KBT’s next largest deliverable was a designed strategic plan to introduce the new brand to the rest of the company. I designed a simple and informative plan that showcases the new brand in a fun and engaging way.

KBT needed to advertise their upcoming annual conference, so I was tasked with creating several ads that would be posted on their channels.

SOCIAL MEDIA ANIMATION

Next, KBT wanted an animated video to post on their social channels that promotes the date of their annual conference. I animated the entire video from scratch in After Effects and optimized it for social media viewing.

Lastly, KBT needed a new website to complete their updated brand. C2 Strategic worked with Evan Matthews Design (https://matthewsdesign.co/) to bring the brand to life in a fresh, modern way using the updated brand standards.
